Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Honor Aiken’s Eventing History & Future!
Over the past Oktoberfest weekend, we held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony out on the Advanced course at fences 21 & 22 the Stable View Offsets. The Olliff’s wanted to recognize those Event Facility Owners and Organizers who had come before Stable View Farm, contributing towards building Aiken into the Eventing mecca that it is today.
We want to acknowledge the farm owners who have lent their facilities to the growth of this sport:
Cathy Coward of Hopeland Farm
Lellie Ward of Paradise Farm
Lara Anderson of Full Gallop Farm
Julie Zapapas of Jumping Branch Farm
In a special acknowledgement of the longest continuously running recognized horse trials in Aiken, Joannah Glass of Sporting Days Farm was presented with a special trophy for her contributions to the sport.
The ribbon cutting ceremony also marked the christening of the first Advanced course in Aiken and Stable View is proud to continue to support the growth of Eventing in this community.
Thank you to all who attended our event and we look forward to welcoming you next year!
