Safety Improvements at Stable View

December 13, 2021
Stable View’s mission has always been to strive for constant improvement and to introduce additional safety measures for riders, spectators, staff, and guests. Last July, we committed to 7 projects and the remaining 4 have now been completed:
- Four security cameras monitor the entire Boyd Martin/ETB Schooling Field. These cameras, mounted on a single steel pole, store data for six months.
- The Emergency Blue Light Call Station is connected to both 911 and the Stable View Office.
- An Emergency Information notice including what to do and who to contact during an emergency has been placed at the schooling field entrance.
- Two AED (Automated External Defibrillator) machines have been purchased, one of which has been installed at the entrance to the Boyd Martin/ETB Schooling Field.
The Magnolia Grandiflora planted over the summer in loving memory of Annie Goodwin is growing well and is one of the remarkable, timeless features of the Boyd Martin/ETB Schooling Field. This spring, the Memorial Garden in Annie’s honor will be full of beautiful native wildflower blooms.
